Rien Que Toi publication

C’est le jour de publication – retardé à cause du coronvirus – de Rien Que Toi, mon nouvel album pour les plus petits.

Maman ourse et ses deux petits profitent du parc, quand Alfie ours interroge sa maman : ” Est-ce qu’il y a d’autres ours comme moi ? ”  “Pas comme toi, non. Il y a toi, il y a moi, avec ta sœur, ça fait trois, mais il n’y a pas deux ours comme toi. De la pointe de ton museau à l’extrémité de tes pattes, il n’y a pas deux ours comme toi. C’est la vérité, crois-moi.”

Alfie bear, his mother and baby sister go for a walk in the park. Alfie asks his mother if there is another bear just like him and so begins a dialogue in which she points out all the things about him that are unique, much too his delight. The English version of Rien Que Toi – There’s Only One You – awaits a publisher. Fingers crossed! Though I say it myself, it’s a beautiful book. Célia Chauffrey’s illustrations are wonderful.
