There’s Only One You

I’m delighted to share with you part of a new illustration by Célia Chauffrey for my new picture book, There’s Only One You, which will be published by my Franco-Belgian publisher, Pastel, at the end of 2019/beginning of 2020. The story is about Alfie bear and how unique he is in the world, and I absolutely love Célia’s interpretation of it. It’s a lovely moment when an illustrator starts working on something I’ve written, taking hold of my vision and using their imagination and skill to extend, even transform that vision. Because I’m working direct with Pastel, English language rights are currently still available. Of course there has to be an English language edition, if any English or US publishers would like to take a look.
